After I made the bow from gumpaste, I tried making it out of wood. The diagonal ribbons were harder than the loops, but with patience, it all worked out.
You can achieve most anything you want if you really put your mind to it. Everything will not always work out exactly as you want it to, but that should never stop you from trying.
At the community woodshop where I used to do my work, as well as in some woodworking magazines, scroll saws are not considered "real tools". As I began to explore the potential of the saw, I realized that I could achieve many of the effects obtained with those "real" tools, and with much greater safety.
