A scroll saw is a real tool
At the community woodshop where I used to do my work, as well as in some woodworking magazines, scroll saws are not considered "real tools". As I began to explore the potential of the saw, I realized that I could achieve many of the effects obtained with those "real" tools, and with much greater safety.
Scrolling is fun and easy to learn
So is cake decorating
Carole, my hope is that Santa sends you lots of nice pieces of wood and great ideas of what to do with the wood this Holiday. I as others, Thank You so much for sharing the wonderful Ideas you have come up with. For me those ideas have put the joy back into scrolling.
